CUNY CITY COLLEGE


The theme of the City College visit is a Pathway to Dreams. Students can take part in multiple workshops to learn about different high school and college choices. The purpose of the workshops is to show what steps middle school students can take now to impact their future. College students will also share their middle school, high school, and college experiences.

Common Core Standards: SL.6.1, SL.7.1, SL.8.1, 7.NS.3, RL.6.3, SL.6.12.1, RI.6.4, RI.7.4, RI.8.4

Please Note: CUNY Explorers visits are open to all middle school students 6th through 8th grade.

Family Feud (with a twist): Students will play City College Explorers version of Family Feud, Questions are related to college with a connection to high school. We can host up to 200 students for this visit

Virtual Minecraft Tour: Students will view a walkthrough of the North Campus of City College with a Q and A from Visit Guides. We can host up to 60 students for this visit.

Learner Style Workshop: Students will learn the different types of Learner Styles and how to use different methods for school. We can host up to 60 students for this visit.
